Year 3
Dissertation

Year 3, was the most challenging and the most rewarding year for me at university. I was able to learn so much about the industry and also lots of different sectors I had know awareness or knowledge of before.
Here is a little more about my final project............
The Gap in the Market
My passion has always been fashion and I thrive on creating a unique and individual look. However this can sometimes be hard to achieve. Different versions of the same garment are now inundating
our High Street and individuality is a thing of the past.

Alternatives have been attempted in order to overcome this situation, mainly by styling. But there is only so much you can style!

As a society we have changed due to social networking sites, busy lifestyles and the internet.

Because of  our hectic schedules we find it easier to send emails rather than pick up the phone or meet for a coffee..........where will this lead?

The Vision
Autumn/Winter 2011 will see the launch of this new and exciting venture. Commitment to the community is paramount, providing opportunities to meet new people, gain skills and showcase new, local talent. Customers will have access to exclusive products from previous eras, offering a unique and individual look. They will also be able to purchase unique products from independent designers, to maintain that individual look.

The Concept
To bring originality, contemporary issues and depth to a future scenario.
To provide innovation, art and up and coming lifestyles to the  fashion industry.

The
Objectives
Encourage social interactions
Provide the ultimate shopping experience
Embrace local, new talent
Create an inspiring environment combining art, technology and fashion
Provide expert personal service
 Remain current and unique
Promote customer individuality
Promote customer welfare and retain a profitable customer base.
